Yes it is time for our guests to sit down at their tables and that is why choosing the chairs is such an important part of the wedding decor.
We want our wedding to be stylish so here are some tips on how to go about it.
Wooden chairs of simple designs and a rustic look about them are the fashion.
If you are thinking of a vintage style wedding you might like to combine different types of chairs around each table, or maybe chairs in whites or ivory with a faint look about them. Tie posies of Spring flowers with a ribbon on the back of each chair, and on the bride´s and groom´s chairs attach their initials or a label with their names or even a Mr. and Mrs.
If your wedding is indoors choose chairs in browns, whites or blacks and attach a cushion matching the colour of the table cloths, napkins or even the colours of the centrepieces.
For a real avant-garde effect combine rococo style chairs with modern design centrepieces and lights.
Colourful outdoor weddings can be achieved with patchwork cushions, chairs in different vibrant colours or bamboo chairs. Fold up garden chairs are a good option as they are light and allow guests to move around the area looking for the shade, sun or just the company of a friend to chat to.
For a rural type wedding long tables and wooden benches are ideal.
We have been gazing through pictures of beach weddings and thought why not incorporate the same philosophy to an indoor wedding?
Low seats and tables are the perfect solution.
If you want you can choose dark colours for the tables and japanese flower arrangements and serve your guests asian food, for a more informal 60´s look scatter big colourful cushions around the floor, you will achieve a warm, relaxing athmosphere.
So just SIT DOWN and enjoy the evening !

You are just dying to say thank you to all those special people that have helped you make your wedding day unique.
Here are some hints on how you can go about it.
You cand send them a thank you card with a small gift.
Your family and friends have been of a great support and have played an important part in your wedding so it is natural you feel grateful to them and want to show it.
When it is close friends you are thinking off try and be original, a good wine, an invitation to a restaurant they love, tickets for a concert, a special book, some small accessory for your close mate to wear or maybe an outdoor activity for the more adventurous friends.
They don´t have to be expensive things. Just let them know why you are thankful by sending them a card alongside the gift and expressing all the love and friendship you feel towards them.
You could also organize some activity together before the wedding day. The guys could have breakfast together, a match and then an afternoon at the spa. For the girls why not a beauty session to get ready to go out for supper.
For the best man you could give him something to wear on the day, something that reflects his personality and style he likes.
Try to avoid giving everyone the same thing, each person is different and you have to think about their tastes and likes and dislikes.
Your mother and bride´s maids are very important to you so why not surprise them with a piece of jewelery to wear on the day with a small inscription to remember the special occasion or maybe a fountain pen with their initials or just simply an afternoon at the spa.
A good moment to choose giving the gifts is by holding a supper a few days before the wedding because you can gather all those close to you and enjoy an intimate evening everyone will remember.
Just remember being grateful to all those who have helped you will fill your heart and theirs with joy.

Browns, ivories and salmons will give your wedding the vintage touch you always dreamt about. You are sure to have seen an old photo of someone in the family in sepia so why not imagine a glamorous groom dressed in brown with an ivory waistcoat and matching hat or a breath taking bride in an ivory embroidered dress ? An antique brooch with feathers as a headdress and a bouquet of pretty spring flowers in salmons and ivory will make the rest.
A wedding of this type reminds us of the French countryside in the 1920´s, so why not choose an outdoor wedding with long rectangular tables where you can be surrounded by all those you love. Dress the tables with fine, elegant chiffon tablecloths, delicate glassware and china, bowls of Autumn seeds and floral arrangements in these three colours. Add small Place Seat Cards with laces on them and Voila!
The perfect colours for a warm Autumn afternoon and a charming finishing touch: Chinese paper lamps hanging from the trees.
Doesn´t this remind you of the old Charleston times ? Why not choose this theme? In the elegant and classic invitation you send your guests you could ask them to come dressed in one of these colours with headdresses and hats of that era. You can have a live orchestra with saxo included instead of the classical DJ, as well as champaign and sparkling wines and small gifts for your guests such as a tiny photo frame in jewellery or fans with laces.
These are only some of our suggestions but these three colours are sure to evoke a hundred and one ideas more. Keep them in mind !

Outdoor weddings are definitely in. A field, a member of the family´s garden or backyard …. We are looking for someting bohemian and fun !
All different colour tablecloths in bright and cheerful colours. Garden deck chairs in wood where you can tie a bow of Spring flowers in a colourful lace to the backs and patchwork cushions to feel comfy.
Save costs and get family and friends involved, that is always fun! ask them to lend you crockery and glassware with a vintage touch, fine china with small flower details would be ideal. To let your guests now where they are sitting why not have posters with their photos on painting stands at the side of each table. Each poster could be personalised with a text, poem or song that you like.
What about small, colourful Spring flowers arrangement in antique china vases or just simple daisies in unusual flower pots. Go for cupcakes, brownies, biscuits, sweets arranged around the table with small cards telling you what each thing is in the most pure old farmshop style and give your wedding a sweet touch that everyone will remember.

No doubt one of the things that creates the biggest expectation on the wedding day is how will the bride and groom be dressed, but there are other details that call guests attention such as where will the reception be held and the decor. Centrepieces are very significant as they tell us a lot about the couples tastes and what that special day means to them.
Centrepieces and the decor are there for very important. This is the first golden rule, they must give a fair idea of what you wish your wedding to be. The second rule is that they must be arranged in such a way that guests can talk and have a laugh with the other guests at the table without the centrepieces hindering eye contact.
Bearing these rules in mind here are some suggestions on the latest floral arrangements and centrepieces to give your wedding a chic and cosmopolitan touch about it.
As we all know Asian art is gaining more and more supporters amongst Western countries it is therefore not strange at all that Japanese floral arrangements are so much in demand.
The beauty, delicacy and subtleness of colours of it´s flowers, the simplicity of their arrangement are some good reasons for this.
They are usually arranged upwise, with a few stems or branches in each arrangement, and they match very well with crystal clear vases of modern and elegant designs that can be filled up with beach pebbles, shells, marbles, coloured sand…. they also blend in well with candle centrepieces as these give out a faint, delicate light. The candles could be placed in some sort of oil lamp in these way you will also avoid that one of the guests might get burnt.
One last suggestion that might appeal to you as a couple, is to replace the flowers for dry branches painted in black with lot of little twinkling lights on them, We simply love the idea.
