Vintage weddings are becoming more and more popular everyday and it is not surprising as the dresses and the decorations have a distinctive flair about them. They are so glamorous and elegant that they make of the wedding day something really special. A vintage wedding has a personal touch that I, particularly, really love. All the smallest details are taken into account. You have bouquets with brooches and lace, antique objects, china plates….and they are all so delicate and nice to look at.
Today I am going to share with you some vintage ideas I have liked:
-flowers are very important in a vintage decoration. You find them in different arrangements, inside crystal jars, old bottles, on top of chairs, hanging from the ceiling … and they really look wonderful and create a sort of `savouir affaire´athmosphere.

-a lot of importance is placed on the light and ceiling ornaments. You might have old chandeliers hanging, dozens of tiny lights, candles or flowers in jars hanging from above, paper dollies, old fashion Chinese lamps…

-banquet tables look great with different china plates and dishes, old crystal glasses and fine cutlery. Rich floral tapestries covering the tables and antique frames with the table numbers give the whole thing a very elegant touch.

-and finally don´t forget to rescue all those old family objects you love. If you combine them with taste you can have a lovely favours tables or a sweet wedding corners. So look out for old suitcases, cameras, books… A plank of wood or an old bike would be perfect to show your guests the way to the desserts table or the wishing tree.
